Chef’s Bio: Ryan Cusack; Executive Chef

   Chef Ryan Cusack began his cooking life at the age of 16, when he landed his first job as a dishwasher at the Eddy Rehabilitation Center in Cohoes, NY.  Right away, he was attracted to the fast paced, high-energy environment of a professional kitchen.  At 18, he got his first cooking job on the line at Krause’s Restaurant and Grove, in Halfmoon, NY, under Chef Bill Terrell.  After a busy summer, and some encouragement from Chef Terrell, Ryan decided that this was the life for him, and after a few more line cooking jobs, enrolled at The New England Culinary Institute.  Since graduation in 2001, Chef Cusack has gained a loyal following of satisfied customers with his clever take on New American Cuisine.  He currently is Executive Chef at Daisy Baker’s, in Troy, NY.  He resides in Troy with his fiancé Maureen, and the couple is expecting their first child in January.
