"My friend and I were looking for a place to have dinner in Troy last night. I went online and panned the menu at Daisy's. I was pleasantly surprised to see that one of my former students is your Executive Chef. I told my friend that, based on the menu and knowing the chef, we had to go for dinner. It was a true dining experience. I can't think of a local place where I have had a meal any better. I have been to Daisy's several times but only for cocktails and/or pub fare. Ryan needs to know that his old (I prefer to call myself former) English teacher at Cohoes Middle School is extremely proud of him. Cooking is a favorite hobby in my family. I called my brother immediately this morning to tell him to get to Daisy's ASAP. The farmers' market nod on the menu was enough for him, since you will find him there every Saturday. My friends at school heard about my experience and will be going to Daisy's also. There's no advertisement that beats word of mouth, positive or negative. This was such a positive experience. Please share this with Ryan and I will be voting for him in the contest. I am looking forward to my next visit. Thanks so much."

   Our Executive Chef, Ryan Cusack, has been selected as one of the Top 10 Finalists in this year's Rising Star's Chef competition!  Now, we need your help.  Please visit the link below, and give Chef Cusack your vote. You can vote once a day for the next month.  The 10 finalists will then be reduced to 6, based on total votes. From there, finalists will display their culinary techniques to a panel of experts for further judging.  6 get reduced to 3, and the winner is announced at the Albany Chef's Food & Wine Festival in January, to be held at the Crown Plaza.  Thanks for all of your support!
